After seeking advise on
tripadviser we were recommended to stay at Willa Giewont
apartments. We booked a twin bedded room but on arrival we were upgraded
(as it was out of season for Zakopane) to a larger self-catering suite on
the ground floor.
We were pleased with the accommodation, being basic but very clean and very well situated just out of town. For the price we paid we would recommend it to fellow travelers. Just around the corner can be found a restaurant/bar that served good food at a reasonable price. Within walking distance, just up the hill, was a small supermarket selling sufficient supplies to cook a breakfast etc. The owner, although speaking little English, was very helpful & friendly.
