I visited Krakow, with my partner, in June (2008) Please see my trip June 2008 report
I have now decided to visit again  this  time unaccompanied,  to see and photograph the Christmas Market and to visit places in Krakow that I missed on my first visit.

The main trip-report will be of particular interest to:-
▪  Anyone going to Krakow on a tight budget (but not wanting to slum it)
▪   People over the age of 60 visiting the City
▪   Serious amateur photographers
▪   Anyone visiting Krakow alone
▪   Help with the transport system of Krakow (getting around)

Started looking at useful Websites about Krakow: decided to put them on this trip-report to help others  that are
thinking or planning a trip to Krakow, please see my Links page

Easyjet sent me an email to say that the flight from Krakow to Bristol on
Thu 11th Dec. had been canceled,
so I rebooked to come back one day earlier (Wednesday)

Fri 3rd Oct 2008

To-day I applied for an over sixties Travel Card so that I can take the coach from the main bus station in
Bristol to the airport and back, saving me £12. I have also informed Studio Nana that I will unfortunately be only
staying in Krakow for three nights not four.   I have also been updating my  Links page, which
now has 30 links.

Mon 1st Dec 2008

Less the a week to go now. Used my 'over sixties Travel Card' for the first time today to catch the bus from home
to the  main shopping centre to get my Zlotys (first time on a bus in the UK for years).   Purchased them
from 'Marks n Spencer's' at 4.293 - much better rate  than I obtained back in June this year. I got just sufficient to last
me over the first few days in Krakow  - I will then use the Kantors in Krakow town and the ATMs.
