Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok)

Wherever we are we are always fascinated by local markets, especially food markets; and Budapest did not let us down in this respect. The large Market Hall in Pest is just a stones throw from Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid). The ground floor is full of stalls selling fresh food, the first floor is devoted to crafts and gifts and a section of fast foods. The small Cafe in the corner of the first floor (overlooking Liberty Bridge) we found excellent for a hot drink or a beer at one of the most reasonable prices in Budapest. Most days we visited the market and had a drink and just watched the locals going about their business.
The crafts and gifts were a much better price than one could obtained from Vaci street.

"Can I bring them back if there not to my liking?"
